Marie Girolamo

Founding Partner/ Creative

With over 16 years of design experience spanning across the USA, Europe, and Asia, Marie brings her global creative influence to one of Ontario’s most thriving gems. Farmhouses, contemporary minimalism, historic homes, and perfectly dappled light everywhere you look; is The County aesthetic the dream? We think so. After abandoning her plan to become a lawyer (phewf!) Marie attended the International Academy of Design, after which, she went on to be a finalist on HGTV’s Design Interns. Apart from designing spaces that are equal parts beautiful and liveable - Marie finds great joy in channeling her inner Nonna through cooking all things Italian.

Susan Tavana

Founding Partner / Finance

Susan started her career in a more traditional finance job, until she realized she liked working with people more than working in spreadsheets. Enter real estate, the industry that added ingenuity to the process of number-crunching and allowed Susan to collaborate with fellow inspired female entrepreneurs at County Curated. From personal client finances to strategic planning, Susan has an incredible way with figures and being able to see, create and unlock hidden values in businesses. Other than having an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business, she also happens to be a Certified Dog Cuddler™.
